In 2009, have your team be a part of Houston's Hottest Tournament- the 26th annual Houston Labor Day Cup. With over 350+ teams participating, the 2009 Houston Labor Day Cup will again be the premier destination for youth soccer tournaments in Houston.

As the title sponsor, the Houston Dynamo bring a tradition of championship excellence and opeartional excellence to the Labor Day Cup.  Experience International, Division 1, Super 2 and Division 2 quality youth soccer with over 350+ registered teams from throughout the Southwest and Mexico. Players will find quality opposition on the pitch and the excitement of a Dynamo game day experience off of it. Special enhancements for this year's registered teams include:

• Complimentary tickets for players and team's coach for a Dynamo home game. Additional discounted tickets for family and freinds are available for purchase.
• International competition with academy teams from Mexico
• Coaches and Directors of Training will be offered an exclusive seminar presented by the Dynamo on Friday, September 4 @ 7:00 PM at the Omni West Houston Hotel.  This event will be held in conjunction with team check-in and referee meeting
• The Dynamo "fun zone" with interactive games/activities
• Appearances through the tournament by Dynamo players, Dynamo girls and Diesel the team's mascot
• Discounted room rates at the spacious Omni West Houston hotel

There will be Gold and Silver competition levels for each age group.

We will offer the following play formats for both boys & girls teams:

U9-U12   8 v 8        U13-U18   11 v 11 

Tournament games will be played at Bear Creek and Katy Park.
